We used to use a wounded rabbit call....don't shoot the scout....let the whole flock come in.....

Get yourself a Johnny Stewart crow in distress, feeding call they work great. This can be obtained in either CD or cassette tape and you can use a boom box but keep the volume low if its too loud it won't be as effective. Plastic hollow crow decoys, great horned owl decoy. Then make yourself invisible until they come in over you but don't shoot the first one in that will be the scout.
