Last and next
Okay hunters...what was your last kill/harvest, and what will be your next?
Last for me was a 8pt deer during archery (yeah I know, nothing during firearms or any other seasons). Next will hopefully be a yote, but that's not going too well so far.....so I imagine the next kill will be the start of GROUND HOG FEST '08!!!!!!!!!

Last was a doe with the flintlock in the late season.
Next is hopefully a turkey.

A doe during rifle season. I'm practicing my turkey calling for April 26th.
I've been itching for a road trip hunt. I'm going to start entering for Elk in PA. I'd also like to do a pheasant hunt somewhere like South Dakota or elsewhere. I also need to find some hunting partners in my neck of the woods. One man in the field makes for some hard hunting, especially small game. Also my wife would suffer less anxiety knowing I wasn't alone in the woods. I guess a cellphone, GPS, 2 way radio and a detailed map of where I'm at isn't enough to calm her.
