I got 4 does so far, 2 with slug gun,1 with muzzleloader and 1 with crossbow. I saw only 3 bucks this entire season. Only one came into range and I choked with a high clean miss crossbow shot.

Way to go JimmyC308,

You make me proud.

I stopped at 2 as I usually only eat 2 in a year.

Had some butterfly chops last night (broiled bacause it was raining too much to light the grill)smothered in butter and a little sea salt.

My pups had some leftover ground I found in the corner of the freezer. They didn't mind that it was aged.

later,

27hand ,My family and I usually eat up 2-3 deer but the rest goes to the landowners to keep things cheery. As for my total of 4 I guess I was at the right place at the right time and I made all of my shots(except that buck) Thanks for the compliment!

Went out, froze my butt off, (well, OK, not quite, as it's still there) and never even saw a darned thing, much less got a shot off at anything. (Only being able to get out on ONE Saturday--because the rest of the time I ended up either babysitting the Grandbaby or stuck working or doing assignments for my classes--REALLY sucks) At least when spring gobbler season rolls around, I'll be finished with school for the semester, so might have a little more time to get out there. At least next deer season I won't have to worry about babysitting instead of playing in the woods.
