Default [New Castle] Cnc shop services

I work at a small(ish) CNC shop in New Castle.. Im the lead programmer/operator/do-all dude in the shop.

I am new to firearms, but we run a very capable shop (our CNC lathes are able to hit +- .0001 without a problem.)

If there is anyone needing some machining done, I would be interested in taking a look at the job and giving you a quote.

Thats ok, we can quote a brain fart.. its gonna cost you tho.

One warning: Our buisness is really cooking at the moment, so lead time may be severe. It depends on the job, if its a lathe job, all our lathes are open. A CNC milling job may be a 1-6 weeks!

Our CNC lathes can hold worpieces upto 10 inches in diameter. Our CNC mills can hold a 20x38x23 workpiece.

As a comparison, where I use to work- one of our lathes could handle 210" diameter work pieces, Turbine rotors.

As a comparison, we have 3 people working on the shop floor. And the average joe can afford our shop time.

=-)

Now that's a good thing.

Machines cost a lot, they're not cheap. Larger companies that I worked for can afford big stuff like that.

That you guys are working in a small shop and make a go of it is commendable. It's not easy.

Keep up the good work!!

Fun is the key.

Why live a miserable life?

My analogy is this:

If you love skiing, you can either become a lawyer, so you can afford to go skiing on the weekends..

Or be a ski instructor, struggle a little bit, but do what you love evry damn day.

The best part is when I remember I get paid for what I do.
