Default Good Gunsmith in Scranton Area

I've got an M1 carbine and want to replace the rear sight. The existin sight is staked pretty well and I don't want to crack the receiver dovetails. Anyone know a good smith with carbine experience. I may als be swapping bolts and will need to have the headspace checked.

TIA

Why don't you PM Pa. Patriot? He does gun smithing although he is not in Scranton he is not very far from there and it will be in good hands.

i would try calling up gun toters in eynon, or bill's sporting goods. even if they can't help, they might be able to point you in the right direction. another choice is to drive to honesdale and visit northeast firearms.
