Aimsurplus.com has complete CMMG lowers and stripped superior arms. I am struggling on whether to purchase the superior...they seem like a bargain for 80 bucks but I have read differing opinions on quality..What do u guys think of superior?

Check out www.del-ton.com for a rifle kit
Also order a stripped lower Go to http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=4&t=226782 to see it illustrated how to put it all together. Del-Ton (DTI) sells their own parts as well as DPMS parts. They have a good name for themselves on the AR15 forum. I ended up building a 20" chrome lined 1x9 flat top. If you want a basic 16" you will probably want to consider whether or not you want an A2 upper or if you want a flat top with a removable carry handle. If you get the flat top, you may want to consider not getting the standard A2 front sight (since it will be in the way of the scope) and go with a YHM gas block and flip up front. That's what I ended up doing on mine. I wanted the scope nice and low on the flat top so I got the flip up front. I have a removable iron sight that I can pop on quickly. Assembly was very easy and it went by too quickly. Being as you are here on the forum, I'm sure you can PM a lot of us to help you put it all together once you start. |
