If it's screwed in you can wind it out. If it's a press fit, I think you pretty much have to cut it off and drill and tap for a new one.

Can you see threads?

No.....
It is apparently pressed in. I had vise-grips on and tried to tap it out with a hammer.
I thought I might have to cut it off and drill it but I wasn't sure. What a pain in the a--! All for fiber optics.

Thanks!!!

Gunsmiths don't charge much for that job should you not wish to do it yourself.

Thanks. I am a mechanic by trade. It really isn't anything I can't tackle. It really is OMG what a pain in the friggin' butt. It was a simple 5 min. project that turned into a job. In addition, the only reason I decided to intall them in the first place was because I got a deal on them. Thanks for your help...
