Default Glock Mag Release

I carry either a glock model 30 or 36. My problems is the magazine releases don't function as well as my 1911 or M&P. Thy are hard to hit to release and the mags do not drop away freely. Does anyone know of a fix or a good place to have it worked on?

Default Re: Glock Mag Release

Is it possible that you are not using "drop free" magazines?

lol mag, your sig line works well with this thread!!

ray, they do sell extended mag releases for the glocks.

it is a very easy gun to take apart.

I had the same problem back in 1991 when I received my Glock 19. I contacted Glock and they said to send it back and they will fix it. They added the extended release...for NO CHARGE.

Unlike most pistols, you need to to keep the mag release depressed until the top of the mag passes the mag catch.

Larry Vickers designed a mag catch for glocks that extends beyond the stock catch but not as far as glock's extended release.

Go to Viking Tactics website.
