Default Let's see some slick gun cases!

I was getting tired of never having a good gun case so I decided to change that.

Just your average, run of the mill, waterproof, almost indestructible storm case right?

BAM!

Take that Zombies!

It's not perfect so I'm looking for options. I need ideas for a support to go under this cutout top section that will leave space for ammo and accessories in the bottom. The foam for the Storm case also comes with another layer of cubed cut so I could just add more guns and my suppressor when I get it but I want to be able to have either or depending on my mood.

So, what is YOUR setup?

I want one/two of them but coin must fall other places first.

I had the case, ordered the foam last week. They are not cheap but I love the quality. And for $20 I can get a new interior for whatever new guns I get.

Just not sure what i want to do.

I don't carry my pistol anywhere but on my side, the walther has it's own factory case so I don't bother with that.

I did this to my $20 walmart "double gun" case for my black rifle

As far as creating a separator have you thought of using something like lexan to create a "shelf" between the upper and lower section and then using something like bolts as "legs" to hold up the weight of the pistols?

An inventive person could shape the lexan into a U shape so it would be more rigid and that would be a SOLID separator. Or if you know someone who has a metal "brake" bender, they could do this with some sheet metal and it would be rigid enough as well.

HMMMMM.

I wonder who was nice enough to give you a storm case?

I have a few pelican and storm cases I could play around with. But as Kaos said, my gun is always on my hip, or nightstand. And I don't have any other handguns I would take the time to make fancy cases for.

I love those felt lined cases though.

Not mine, but one of my favorite themed 1911s (more smiths need to start doing theme guns), with a case to match.
