Default Pair of Nines !

They are both from 1944, German marked and absolutely reliable!
Guess what they are.
Here's a clue!

Dang you are good, and fast!
They are both the VIS 35s, These wartime 9mms are just the most reliable semi's I have ever shot, I think even better than the venerable 1911s which I also have,
These are both the 3 lever models being the early german production when they took FB Radom from Poland, Shortly there after they had no takedown lever, And used cheeper roll pins instead of solid steel pins.
If you ever get a chance to play with one, Try to limp wrist it till It doesnt fire, Seems like it cant be done, Could hang it from a string and it would still cycle!
Peter.

Very nice specimens! And personally I am glad to see them in the hands of someone that actually likes to shoot them!

Have Fun!

More photos, please.

That's awesome. Wanna trade for a slightly newer 9mm made in Austria?

(Serious about the photos, BTW)

Maybe you should have titled the thread: A Pair of Nines that beat a Full House!

If my memory is correct, the decocking feature was designed to allow a mounted cavalryman to render his pistol safe to holster using only one hand.
