Not a very good picture, it was starting to get dark, but this is my brother-in-law's 1944 M44...he loves it.

Thats the best time to shoot the M44 types....... just as its about to be dark....... BOOM........ it turns into a fire breathing dragon.

My M44 is on its way.

We saw, and the brother-in-law who has only been 18 for a few weeks and this is his first firearm he purchased himself thoroughly enjoyed that.

Here are a few of mine, 2 M-39s, I have more but no pictures of them. Don't worry about shooting corrosive ammunition. That is what they were weened on. Just clean up afterwards, use hot water and then clean as normal. Like shooting black powder, just have to clean them.

the 300rds fer less then a $100 makes corrosive worth it. and as stated clean up in a bolt action is nothing.

It wouldn't bother me, but it's not my gun...it's also probably a bit special for him, even though it was only a sub $100 purchase, it's his first gun he bought. I'll see if I can find a set of instructions for him to read on how to clean up after shooting corrosive and let him read it and decide. I would shoot the stuff, I mean AIM surplus has a 250 round tin of ball ammo for $40.

Ok I'll play along. Here are a few of my Mosins. I also have a couple of M39s, more M44s and a 91/59 but I didn't feel like digging them out.
