I'll try to get some pictures of my 4 (M38, M44, 91/30, and 91/30 hex). Meanwhile, here is my son shooting the M38.

Here we go.. I put the family on the pool table. I was going to add the Nagant revolver but the post says "Mosins" not "Nagants."

Nice...you should put a hotdog on the bayonet and have lunch after shooting a few rounds.

Nice M44. Mosin stocks are not numbered. It looks like you have a wartime stock and those splices are pretty common. Give us a range report. Remember the M44 is sighted with the Bayo out. Not only does it look cool but the looks you get from others is pretty cool. It will most likely shoot high. What I do is put a piece of 3/32" heat shrink tubing on the sight and trim it down as I shoot. It usually doesn't need more than 1/8" rise to hit POA.

i never ha dan interest in these guns at all i always loved my ak 47 actually its a wasr but close enough for me. but then one day walking around a gun show i stopped by eagle arms table and saw a bunch of m44 for like 59 dollars so i bought one cause face it not too many rifles can be found for under 100 dollars. especially one that packs a punch like the mosin so i took it to the range and got hooked on them now i want to start collecting these things cause they are fun and cheap to shoot kinda like the sks used to be lol. anyway sorry no pics of it the rifeing and bluing is mint though and the stock well i guess it was used to hit trees or germans or i dont know what lots of patch work on it. it gives it personality though : )

I only have two. One is a 1938 Tula Finnland captured SA rifle. The other is an all matching (not forced), original 1944 Izzy sniper with PU scope. It shoots really well. With a warm barrel, it will put three rounds in a quarter size hole at 50 yards.
