WWII rifle day at West Shore Sportsmen's. It broke into a thunderstorm but my 9yr old was making bigger noise than mother nature.

He and his sister alternate with me each week. He has always shot my AR, the RPK, .22 Savage, or Sig Mosquito. I just got the recoil pad so he and his sister are now getting to enjoy the "cool" guns they use in Call of Duty 2. Who says video games can't be educational.

I'll tell you one thing, each time I go I think I come home with a new favorite gun. I am blown away with how well that Mosin M38 and Lee Enfield shot.

You know what....there seems to be a rash of this now. Fathers spending time with their children and bonding, and teaching safe shooting skills. You know what I am absolutely thrilled. Being a father is an awesome experience and I love it, and it make me very happy to see other Dad's enjoying it to. +1,000,000
