Question Looking for training...

Hi all,

Just registered here. I live in the Butler area and I'm trying to find a good place close by with some handgun training.

I have some minor shooting experience with .22 and some trap and sporting clays with a 12 gauge.

I'd like for my wife and I to take some training with a handgun, I have no handgun experience and she has no experience around guns at all. Anyone know a good place for us newbies to get some training?

Here's another thread about the same subject.

Here is a link to the NRA site.

Ya, I'm on the Western side of the state and that thread is about the Philly area. I did look at the NRA site and it seems there is nothing in my immediate area...strange for how "country" this area seems there are not more ranges or dealers.

Well get in touch with some of the larger gun shops in the area...there might be someone that is NRA certified or someone that is very knowledgable with rifles/pistols/shotguns. I just hope you don't find someone to train you that offers bad shooting habits.
