If you cant read it, it says "Speak Up" "Save Lives" "Report Gun Threats Anonymously"

I see some billboards to the same effect when taking Liberty Ave home from Downtown.

At least it's not as bad as the one at Ikea in Cali. This one says "gun threats". While this is all very ambiguous, it does smell a bit funny.

This is another one of Fat Eddies little "anti crime" ideas and it is supposed to be done statewide. From what I understand it was supposed to start in the four corners and move from there.

Gun owner? Then you're guilty of being a murderous villain until proven... well, you won't be proven innocent... maybe just a villain?

Almost as bad as the schools and physicians questioning our children if they or their neighbors have "guns" in their homes.

Maybe I am missing something. What is wrong with reporting gun threats? is it that it's anonymous?
I guess if a cop pulls you over and you have a gun and "someone" says you were aiming it at them but the reported in anonymously you can't face your accuser.

But as responsible gun owners we should want the bad guys caught for doing stupid shit with guns. I would rather them get caught for brandishing then for murder.

I do forget that we are seen as the bad guys by a lot of people.
My cousin is one of the anti's. she hates the guns. Her two boys (ages 9 and 11) ask me about them all the time. I can't wait to take them shooting in a few years.

I think what you're missing is that they are programming the children to think A GUN is a THREAT. I certainly would hope that citizens would report SOMEONE who is threatening another with a gun...

If this were coming from a pro-gun organization, that's exactly what it would mean, BUT I think we all know that those paying for that sign see YOUR GUNS as a THREAT. PERIOD. See a GUN? REPORT IT IMMEDIATELY!

If you can't face your accuser can they charge you for something like brandishing? or I guess could they get a conviction?
