facing your accuser is a long lost right. It's been trumped by alleged victims rights, etc. People can testify against you over the phone, directly to the judge, over satellite from overseas, etc.

I certainly wouldn't expect it in the court of law, IMO.

You don't get to have the meter maid that steals your money appear in court? From there and beyond, things have eroded. How about a citizen that calls the police and says "Someone is parked in front of my driveway" and you're towed. Good luck fighting that first of all, not to mention facing your accuser.

I'm completely aware of that, if I get bothered, they get a lawsuit. Plain and simple. Granted I would first try and talk with the officer. But all we have are part timers that wont stay at all in the area.

Actually what I would be more worried about is being on that block with all the shootings up at the CM rather than the police.
