As far as I understand yes, it still must be unloaded but from what I understand it can stay in your trunk or gun rack or whatever.

Yeah...

Just remember, you cannot have a loaded long gun in a vehicle - ever.

In no shape or form does Chapt 61 prohibit carrying in a vehicle of long guns. It does regulated loaded carry though. Except for prohibited persons and those under 18, the "firearm" definition doesn't include long guns.

We need the character clause the sheriffs use to revoke LTCF revisited requiring a hearing in front of a judge to revoke / deny.

i agree. that would be number 1 on my list. the way it works now is an abominal affront to the concept of due process.

repealing all unconstitutional gun laws (that would pretty much be all of them) would be next on my priority list.

Clarify the laws about vehicle carry and allow vehicle carry from place to place without a LCTF.

As ive stated many times, the way the law is written now, its not that far a step. "fixed place of business" is only cited in 6106a1. Everywhere else such as 6106a8 merely states "place of business" or "business". This lack of the word fixed implies that other definitions of the word business need applied here.
