All I am saying is that if it can be taken a way even for a short while we are recognizing that the right to vote is not a right but a privilage. For now its felons but just like people on here are worried about the 2A rights disappearing little by little other rights will disappear just like that. IMHO I believe every american citizen should be able to vote that is the only way to maintain it as a RIGHT and not a privelage. Just something to think on.

And yes, I think if you're a convicted felon you lose your right to vote for good. I did not know this was not so for all states. I also find an issue with inmates using this as an excuse to get out for an afternoon. I highly doubt the vote would go in favor of those of us who cherish their 2A rights. Just my two pennies.
I agree. Not to mention how many taxpayer dollars are used to transport them to and from the voting booth. I'm sure they don't tell them to go and vote and come back when your done.

But its not a right, it is a privilege, and one many many men have died for... And its a privilege that every American citizen has been given, but you should forfit it at the point you brake the law, after they serve their time, then they can vote again...
