Default Glen Beck says sales on big Safes up

Glen said this morning that the sales of large safes has increased massively.
He said he is checking with different firearm manufactures to see if their sales are also jumping.
Interesting? People preparing for something big ?

If that were the case, I'd also check on the recent sales of shovels.

Better to convert currency to brass and lead... you can't eat gold and gems, and in a survivalist society, baubles aren't going to protect your food supplies like bullets will.

/or get you the other guy's food supplies.

I actually hope you're right, and that we find the courage, if the time comes, to live up to that "I'll give up my gun when they pry it from my cold, dead hands" bravado.

I fear a lot of erstwhile swaggerers are going to meekly hand over their guns when the knock comes at the door.

I'm getting old now and don't look forward to any "straw death", as the Norse used to call it... I hope I myself retain the courage to take a few tyrants with me, if it comes to that.

Tyrants? That's a little harsh isn't it? j/k Perhaps "liberty challenged" would be the politically correct term.

The irony of the "shovel" comment is that the time to 'bury them deep' is the very same time to dig them up.

The sale on big safes makes me relieved. It lets me know that MAYBE others will be prepared for what's coming.

Glen Beck said something else that was even more important and very disturbing though. He said a high-ranking source told him about a military unit being created and used on a full-time basis for "domestic terrorism" and "civil unrest." Posse Comitatus, anyone? And what exactly constitues domestic terrorism or civil unrest?

I am genuinely scared for my country, and of the government that has taken over my country. It's time to wake up.

I thought you meant the shovels were for digging graves.
