I was doing a google search for ranges in my area and one of the links brought me here. It has certainly been worthwhile imho.

google got me here first
all of you got me to stay
ive joined a lot of forums over the few years of my life, but this is the only one where EVERYONE has been helpful and supportive and, well, adults, instead of 14 year olds with an overactive sex drive and inflated sense of worth. anonymity tends to make people assholes, but here everybody is awsome, and thats why i come back every day. and while im still not technically a gun owner (cant afford it after the 2 months waiting for approval, college isint cheap) i still come by and try and offer whatever advice as best i can, and learn what i can at the same time.

I googled State Game Lands and stumbled upon this site.
Then I saw the Gun Babe thread and decided to stick around!

Glad you're here.

We also have legal battles, caliber debates, and cat pictures.

Stick around. There's a wealth of information.

I forget.................

Oh yeah, after my uncle passed away last September, I was looking for info on some of the 73 guns he had. I found myself on GOA, and one of their links was to this wonderful place. I haven't looked back since.

BTW, the guns all went (except for a couple I got) to an estate sale. They hauled in 24,000 dollars !! yeah he had some good shit !!

And you don't have an UZI, MP5, or M16 why?

Seriously, with that cash I'd get some dream guns...

All the cash went to pay off his bills. Seems Uncle Jack cared more about guns than he did paying taxes and things.

We're talkin M1 Garands, British Enfields, Bushmasters, Colt 1911's ( at least a dozen), if you can name it.....he had at least 6 of 'em. It was a phenominal collection. God, I miss Uncle Jack.
