My wife just got her LTCF in the last year but we still need to get training. I figured a gun was better than pepper spray even without formal training (she still carrying the spray too). Once we get the move and job situation squared away we're both getting training.

I will admit the events you and your wife had do concern me with moving into that region. I still don't know where anything is in relation to anything else. I guess that training needs to be higher on our list once settled in and we'll have to make sure we have comfortable carry methods so there are no excuses for not carrying! I'll need to rely on all the local PAFOA folk to key us in on trouble areas!
As long as you stay away from my house, youll be fine. I live near chester, and unfortunately the population there consist of peopel who dont care.

My wife has been saying over and over again about going down to the Sheriff's Office to fill out her LTCF paperwork. I just started a new (actually, I'm a re-hire) job and work on-call 5 days/week, which means she's alone with the kids a lot more. Hopefully this is only temporary...some good luck just came my yesterday and I'm hoping to cut this job back to part-time while I proceed with something that has the same or better money with a regular schedule. I told her yesterday that there will be no more putting around on this issue - I'm taking her to get next Wednesday when I have off if she doesn't go down there herself first. She has my .38 snubbie at home, but I want her protected everywhere she goes, so I'm going to transfer ownership of it over to her. (Funny note: Over this past week, she's actually holstered it IWB and keeps telling me how comfortable it is ).

You do know you dotn need to transfer it over to her. My wife has her LTCF and she can legally carry anythiogn i own, although she likes her firestorm, and her smith.

Nah she doesnt read here, but i am going to tell her what everyone is saying, im sure she will appreciate it.

My wifes situational awareness shocked the hell outta me, usually i ask her if she saw a sign or someones shirt, she says "no sorry i wasnt paying attention." I have taken a basic hangun course, and she is signed up for it, once she is done with that we are going to get more advanced training together.
as far as the CCTV, he actually went to the front of the buildign against the wall first, I was supprised that the cameras didnt cover that area (3'x5' blind spot on camera, wonder how he knew it was there?). When he walked to my truck is when he came into view. I guess after watching the news theres no horror flick that compares to real life, because in real life there are no sequals. I just want my family to be around for the whole movie. Even if it does last a half hour to long...... j/k (anyoen know where that came from gets 4 rep points for watching the news.)
