What happens to a bullet fired through a plane at 30,000 feet?

Loss of cabin pressure, and it gets really cold.
Overhead masks drop and you freeze your ass off.
I doubt it would break up the aircraft, but it would suck.

Good news is the word is out, pilots are armed and dangerous!

Watch out Hijackers!

The report I heard was this dispels the ridiculous myth created in Hollywood that if gunfire pierces a plane's skin there is decompression and the plane crashes. They system that pressurizes a plane can certainly overcome such a small hole just like the hole in one of my tires with nothing plugging it (like a nail) still healed pressure for 3 weeks. That little hole ain't nothin.
