Could it be that your numbers show you as non-profitable or at-risk for some other reason and this is just an excuse to elliminate your insurance plan?

Maybe some auto claims recently? Or late on payments?

I have had Erie, and though they are expensive compared to some others, I never had a problem or any hoops to jump through with any claims etc. so I have always kept them.

Is it maybe the agent that Reps them?
One of the insurance agents I talked with told me they are tring to get rid of me because my home owners is low, less than 250.00 per year. Still why is this my problem they did the deal and signed the contract....

I agree with you. I always suspect a sneaky underhanded plot in these scenarios. You have proved it to my satisfaction as that explanation sounds like a typical ploy.

Edit: Remember, there will always be a party trying to use a loophole or backdoor method to gain advantage. This is why there are no reasonable gun control laws.

You can call the insurance department of PA. and file a complaint. Sometimes they will call the insurance company for the reason to make sure it is valid.

I've been trying to find the number or contact information. Especially since I see 2 others have Erie and a home GS biz.

Any company is required by law to send you a cancellation notice that has the reason and also information on how to ask the ins dept to review it. Trust me its just stalling the inevitable as they wouldn't send out a cancellation if it wouldnt pass the DOI muster.

I'd be curious on the other posters remarks that they have the same business and its fine, did they have a company inspection or did the agent just tell you that?

I wish they would PM me so I could call one of thier agents so to talk things over with an agent from the same company. Since they won't send a PM it kind of makes one wonder..

You can file a complaint with the PA. department of insurance on line. Google search for their web page. Under consumer section click on file a complaint. You must get a written notice of cancellation as previously said.
