Ok, here is the formal announcement.

SPORTING GOODS ONLY GARAGE SALE, JUNE 27 AND 28, 8AM-5PM

The sale will be held at 307 Matilda Ave, Lemont, PA (just outside State College, near the Nittany Mall). If you use Google Maps it will locate it for you. If you need directions you can PM me or call 814-867-0867 (leave message and I'll get back to you).

This sale is open to the public and any PaFOA members (from anywhere) that want to sell/possible trade/barter their unwanted/no longer needed stuff are more than welcome to join us. If you want to know more you can PM me. I am a FFL and will provide those services to those that need them (transfers, etc.)

As in the past if you just want to stop by to talk guns that's fine too. I typically have some cold beverages in the frig and who doesn't like to talk guns? Bring the wife, if nothing else interests her, 2 shopping areas are less than 1 1/2 miles away.

I may be in town this weekend and would consider stopping by. I'm guessing "sporting goods only" implies guns and hunting supplies only to discourage people from asking you to sell their crockpot for them, correct? so a pistol would be an acceptable item?

Yep, that's it, a sale for sporting guys and gals, no tupperware here unless it holds ammo. There will probably be some exercise equipment and camping stuff, but no romance novels, old magazines (unless firearms related). Bring what you got for sale if you're in the area.

It went good and not so good. Hade several other members join me with guns and stuff for sale. That is the good. The not so good was that we didin't have a lot of traffic and no guns were sold (otherthan a PaFOA AR lower I sold to RandomTask). Did give out a lot of business cards and probably 8 or so PaFOA members came by. Also think I got a active shooter to check out the website (we see him that the PCG's Scotia range a lot). I thank you guys again for the commercial on poofa radio.
