I can write, design, and gosh darn it, people like me so you can put down public relations as well. I have plenty of time for the next couple of months, after which I will be dealing with a newborn so who knows. I work extremely fast, but I'm kind of a stickler for detail so In the end I suppose they cancel each other out. I am also very comfortable bridging the communication gap between Liberal types and sensible people, I guess going directly from art school into the military sort of primed me for the role. I'm also fluent in Arabic, which around here is completely useless unless you want to order kebabs and couscous from that Moroccan restaurant across the river.

Graphic Design

Requirements: Anyone with skills: My father and I have a Graphic Design studio in the Pittsburgh area. He has been in the business for over 30 years and I have been in the business for over 3. We both have Degrees in Graphic Design and Visual Communications. We work with small medium and large corporations on projects ranging from pamphlets, postcards, and animations to large, in-depth catalogs and websites. We are well versed in the entire adobe creative suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver (web), and Flash (animation), as well as In-Design and Quark Express (page layout programs). We do our own Photography, in-house or on-site along with our Photo editing and retouching. We have an extensive group of Technical Writers, Illustrators, Large format printers (banners, signs, etc...), small and large quantity printers, and just about anything else you might need to complete your graphic design needs.

Non-Profit Experience: Not Required: We do some non-profit work.

Firearms Knowledge: Not Required: We have some firearm knowledge to date, but we are always learning new things and firearms have been my passion out side of work for the last 2 years.

Paid: Possibly on a per-project basis: We would work with you to make sure both the PAFOA and Condello Design are happy. We would not require payment for all projects but certain projects that might require a lot of time would require re-embursement for time spent. (at a discounted rate of course). We want to help and would in no way drain the resources of the PAFOA. Any paid projects would of course take precedence and be given as much time during the day/night as needed to complete the job in a timely and professional manner. It would be treated as a job just as any other "client's job" would be treated.

No-Pay jobs would be given special care and will also be done in a timely and professional manner but will have to be done around other client jobs and after normal work hours (we all need to make a living, to buy more guns).

Work Fast/On Short Notice: Moderate: We are very accustomed to working fast and meeting quick deadlines with our clients. We can work on short notice and complete your job in time. No problem at all, we are always rushed when we work.

Description: As PAFOA grows it will take on many projects requiring the skill of talented graphic designers. In the long term such designers will be responsible for maintaining and modifying the PAFOA "brand" and in the short term mostly what is needed are print designers who can handle the creation of professional looking flyers, brochures and informational pamphlets relating to the ownership of firearms in Pennsylvania.: We can complete any job you give us in the timeframe provided to us and we will be completely professional during the course of the job.

I'd be glad to assist with your proposed wiki system. I wrote a wiki-like content management system called 'open site', which can act as a wiki, as well as work as a 'production website'--for example, the software could even run the pafoa homepage if you really wanted it to. It could easily be "hooked up" to work with the forum accounts, so folks don't have to register in differing areas. The software features optional publishing feature, where edits to the website or wiki could be reviewed by some designated person/group of people, before being visible on the public website. This type of system prevents misinformation from being published, opposed to a Wikipedia-based system where either anyone can edit, or editor's edits show on the public website instantly.

I also founded an internet encyclopedia: open-site.org. At one point it was a strong contender with Wikipedia. I'd gladly offer personal server space and my software to PAFOA as well as my software development skills, system administration skills, and time.

I have been practicing law for 15 years in Pittsburgh. I am a partner at Reed Smith, LLP (a large law firm over 1,300 lawyers who practice in virtually every area of the law all over the world, including corporate, non-profit and criminal law). I myself, concentrate on litigation (i.e. trials and hearings etc. in a variety areas of the law) and have contacts on the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. I have been learning more and more gun law over the years (especially since I started to CC) and would like to be more involved. The nice thing is that with one email I can bounce an idea off a thousand lawyers!!!
