Erie police were investigating a shooting at 307 Myrtle St. late Monday night.

A neighbor said two victims were taken from the residence, and reports from the scene indicated one victim was shot in the buttocks and the other shot in the lower left arm with injuries also to the forehead. An officer on the scene described the injuries as minor.

Police were on the scene at about 11:12 p.m. Officers were told to look for three men in masks.

Police had no suspects in custody as of 11:50 p.m. Four police cruisers and an evidence-collection unit were on the scene.

The victims were taken to Hamot Medical Center by ambulance. No other details were available late Monday.

Sounds like an armed home invasion..

Sure does. Makes me wonder if they were locals or some of the rif-raf that come from Cleveland or Detroit. Nobody's safe anywhere.
