Mtbkski, give a look to "Bagmaster" line of nylon gear. Cheap and rugged, some switch from left to right or from strong side to cross draw. One type has a velcro thumb break that can be used or removed. I believe "Uncle Mike's" products will give you the same type of product and selection...Mike45

I just got a gunmate holster for my Sigma from gander mountain for 16 bucks and it holds an extra magazine. I've been convinced as of recent the more mags you can carry the better lol.
It's nice, it's ambidextrous just like me and it can go OWB or IWB it's actually fairly comfortable IWB.

+1 on the Don Hume. They are some of the least expensive leather holsters out there. A leather holster will be infinitely better than anything made from nylon.

Although I have expensive leather holsters, I am using a Passport Cordura/Ballistic nylon holster for IWB. For 14.95 its outstanding. Its comfortable and you can't wear it out. I bought it at The Army Navy Store on Grape St in the Lehigh Mall. Website www.passport-holster.com I also like Mika's Holsters a great fuctional holster and a great guy to deal with. Check his sight www.mikaspocketholsters.com He is also inexpensive.Hope this helps

Seriously, a top quality holster is one-forth of your weapons 'system'. Cheap holsters may let you down when you need it, or worse yet allow your XD to go rattling across the parking lot as you exit your car. A good kydex or boned leather holster to fit your XD-9 would be your best bet. Why chance it?

uncle mike's sidekick nylon IWB. $15 to $20...you can get them at sportsmen's warehouse, gander mountain, etc.
i have several much more expensive holsters and still use this one more than any other. it is very comfortable and very concealable. |

I'm swallowing my pride so that my $500 dollar gun doesn't sit at home till I can afford my $100 holster that I want. I just want to start carrying my baby, and right now, I don't have a holster for it that I want to use. I am saving up for that purchase. But I have been buying to many other gun related items lately, and the funds are low.
