Yes.
Firearms as well as many other types of *contraband*. This policy applies to the employee parking lot across the street which they rent. As such, technically we're not even allowed to keep a firearm in our vehicles.

I work for a major defense contractor and they "STRICKLY" prohibit firearms on property. ..BUT! they have some rinky dink security company protecting their interests, They search folks going out for stolen tools or whatever, but could care less about whats carried in. Yeah I know...screwed up.

My old job in the 'hood of Philthadelphia had a no-carry policy, but I carried daily because my life was worth way more than my job.

My company had no policy regarding firearms for the past 7 years that I was employed with them.
I missed the latest company seminar and evidently it has been added to the do not do list. My supervisor and safety officer both know I carry. The question has never been asked of me. I do not carry at the 2 Federal facilities where we have projects although the head of the VA police staff offered their services to fingerprint me for my Utah CCW. Carry on, 27hand |
