Looks like a call to US Attorney Patrick Meehan's office is ALSO in order. After all, according to the article posted above, Meehan thinks these guys are wonderbar.

As for the incident ... please file a formal complaint. He was impersonating a police officer and I would think some other things as well.

As John Street, the angry, black, racist mayor of Philthydelphia once proudly proclaimed: "Da brothers and da sistas are in control NOW."

I think I'll email Mayor Nutter and ask him how THAT is working out for him.

Nice bike rider fellas in those videos.

I feel safer already.

I know the fishing spot well, I go there often. It is in the 15th District of the PPD. I may have to go there myself and OC let him try that shit with me.

To the OP, I agree with everyone else who has posted saying file a complaint. Here is the non-emergency number to the 15th District, 215-686-3150.

Small update-I'm at work right now.

Today when I got up I called the number on his card, to try and nail down more than a rank and one name. It turns out he isn't even part of the bike patrol-they have no caucassians in the EBP at all.

My fiancee and her brother are supposed to be thinking of anything they can remember tonight, and I'll call in the morning and file a complaint with the Philadephia PD.

I totally dropped the ball. I forgot to record, and I let myself get hassled and my fiancee get upset by a guy who wasn't even a LEO.

Phillyshooter, I'm thinking I need to do more fishing there. Maybe we should have an OC fishing day

Absolutely unbelievable!!! I am glad to read that you're following up on everything. What a jackass that guy is. I guess you could say he did a REALLY good job impersonating LEOs though....right down to the uneducated part.

Thank you for sharing this story. I truly hope you are able to follow up and get the situation to some sort of resolution. For the rest of us, it serves as a learning experience to make sure you see a badge with a number on it, name patch on a police uniform, a police identification card, or some form of verification of authority before allowing a “police officer” to even open their mouth.

Thank you chrisjames_71 for the idea of calling into 9-1-1 to make the police officer identify themselves to dispatch for verification [http://www.pafoa.org/forum/concealed...tml#post368087 (My first (non)LEO encounter)], as well. I would have never thought of that.

Possibly an OC fishing outing would be in order? Now that would make a point.
