After reading that BS police report it sounds like they are trying to lay all the blame on PA Patriot. They are making it seem like things escalated because of his actions. (if simply knowing the law can be called an action) I really don't like how he is being villainized over this incident. The police and the press(at large) have been doing everything they can to shift the focus off of the illegal official acts and throw Pa Patriot under the bus and point fingers. It makes me sick and I fear the sheep out there may be eating it up.
I know Pa Patriot can't talk about current or possible future legal actions but please do it!(lawsuit) Now they are smearing your name and that is just uncalled for. Just let us all know where to send the money for the lawyer. I don't care if it is in court for years and you need more. I will send what I can when you need it as I'm sure many others will. Pa Patriot.......did you contact the NRA about this situation yet?

NO! The "video" that keeps being mentioned is, I believe, a "news clip"... NOT the video that was captured by those involved. Does everyone understand that you would not "give" that kind of thing to the people who are obviously scrambling to try and cover their asses? ![]() ETA: Looks like someone else is tired of hearing that question too. Beat me to it! |

I was struck by the attempts by the ADA and police to portray their actions as the result of ignorance. One of the requirements of an "official oppression" complaint is that the accused know their actions were illegal.
Unfortunately for the police and ADA, their actions affected far more than just the guns. There are multiple other civil rights complaints on both the state and federal levels from the description of the incident. Of course, even if a claim of ignorance were successful in a criminal trial, those claims by the accused could then be evidence in a civil complaint, and proof of negligence by the Chief of Police, City of Dickson, and the county for having failed to properly train their officers and officials on the requirements of, at a minimum, the 1st, 4th, and 5th amendments, not to mention the 2nd (which would be the hardest to make a case on), as well as their failure to properly train their officers and officials on the requirements of state laws.

Rich ~ I understand why you are being quiet about this incident. But I chuckle every evening thinking you must be ready to EXPLODE, waiting until you can talk about things!!!
I am behind you, as are thousands of others. ![]()
