probably a dumb question but I'll ask anyway.......

OC is legal in Philly. Is CC also legal? I know that city has some bs laws/outlooks on firearms.

Concealed carry is legal in Philly if you have a License to Carry. And only in Philly do you also need a license to open carry.

Round 2:

Home Depot, Aramingo Ave - Nothing out of the ordinary, picked up 6 bags of mulch and a few odds and ends, no stares or comments.

Shop Rite, Frankford Ave - Went on my weekly shopping trip, nobody said a word or gave me dirty looks until I reached the checkout. The kid bagging nudged the cashier and glanced at the G21 on my hip, the guy who was the cashier looked and said "whoa dude, that's sweet, are you a cop?", I replied I wasn't I just carried for protection. He replied with another "sweet" and finished checking me out.

Really didn't do too much today besides yard work. I will continue to keep you updated on the OC experience here in Philly.

You must live real close, I'm sure we'll bump in to each other sooner or later. Where do you shoot? I've had some ink done at Pop's, they're pretty good.

Consider that line stolen! Great line! Conga- rats on the OC in the land of the (ex) firebombing Mayor!

The best jokes are stolen jokes- If they laugh, you're OK, if not you blame it on the guy you stole it from.

Wow! Very interesting. Nice work...you got balls man!!! I think 99.9% of the people assumed you were a plain clothes LEO. Are you mid-30's to middle age white man who is clean cut? I would have...and I CC everywhere in Philly.

Try the Northern Liberties area, the subway, Old City...or at a convenience store or a bank to see how people react. I am VERY curious. Pop on an NRA t-shirt too
