I have no problem open carrying in Philly when I'm dressed in a tie, I assume that other people think I'm a detective. When I'm casual in jeans, I don't open carry.

Dude, you have a pair, and my hat is off to you. Just be sure if you get in trouble to let us know so we can get you decent legal representation

Wawa Frankford Ave - No looks from anyone, seems they didn't even notice.

Walgreen's Frankford Ave - Again no looks from any employees or shoppers. As I was leaving an on duty PPD officer was entering, he looked at me then at my G21 and said "Nice Glock" which I replied "yours too" he told me to have a good day and went on our merry ways.

Eye Doctor - Entered the office and immediately felt the stares. The receptionist looked at me and then my G21 and asked if I was a cop. I told her no, I was just taking my 2nd amendment for a walk, which she laughed at. She said she didn't know it was legal to carry out in the open like that in Philly so I schooled her on the carry laws. The doctor made a comment that it was nice to see upstanding citizens taking advantage of their Constitutional rights and would feel safer if more people would do the same.

I must say it went better than I expected, not that I'll be OCing on a daily basis but it's nice to know I don't have to feel like an outlaw doing it.

You do have an LTCF right? Philadelphia is a City of the First class. Hard to believe, but that's the legal definition

I was paranoid as hell, especially when I saw the cop. I was expecting him to at least ask for my LTCF.

wow... I've been rubbing miracle grow on my sack for the past year in an attempt to bolster my testicular fortitude for a Philly OC. Well done! I'm that much closer to OC'ing. Thanks for the story!

I'll second that. It's to the point where I don't even notice if someone....uhhh....notices.

While in OCB last weekend, I was aware of all the lookers cuz I was up and down with my kids a bazillion times.....I couldn't help but notice.
