Default How long did you have to wait to get your LTCF?

Just wondering because father in law went and filled out the paperwork for his yesterday and the secratary told him that it would be ready tommorow which and when I got mine it was only a 2 day turn around.

Of course this is Mifflin county.

The wait is highly variable. Taking from 15 minutes to the full 45 days allowed, with a few counties taking even longer.

It all depends on the policies and procedures of the sheriff in question.

Allegheny isn't that bad at all - took less then two weeks from start to finish for my LTCF.

Philly and Delaware County are some of the worst in the state - reports form Delaware County put them in the 45-60 day range. (I don't know if that has changed recently though.

Let's put it this way.....By the time you get notified by the city of Philadelphia that your permit is ready.....you forgot you even applied !

Seriously though, over here takes anywhere from 3 weeks to 3 months.
