The purpose of this new thread will be to make information more easily obtainable and to better coordinate travel plans so as to not to lose potential supporters drowning in a sea of posts.
I am proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with those that have given support by donating monetarily, will be coming out for the hearing, or that extended heartfelt moral support on this forum. I want to serve as witness to the justice Mr. Rotz and all of us deserve. We are part of a distinguished group. One must believe that with these occurances the aims of the Pennsylvania Firearms Owners Association have been realized. A horde of outraged citizens enthusiastically jumping to the aid of one wronged individual captures the essence of fraternal unity and displays it proudly on high. The common thread that binds us has proven its strength and sets precedent for the future. Such a thought should be comforting to those who now know, without a shadow of a doubt, they shall not stand alone against unjust infringement. ![]() LTCF revoked?! Bad address link. You cut and pasted the text, not the link.
You ended up with the '...' in the link. That ends up sending people to the Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico. :arriba: |

Let me say that I am extremely impressed with the outpouring of support gnbrotz has received. It shows the true good nature of the gun owners here in Pennsylvania. It speaks volumes about this great community forum. After experiencing my own OC hassle incident the point was really hammered home for me personally. Not that it should have been necessary, because the truth was evident to me much prior to my minor run-in: This could be any of us.
I will also offer a carpool. I drive a Lincoln Towncar with room for 4 other passengers comfortably. I will accept travelers from Allegheny and Westmoreland Counties. What I would like to do is have 1 stop in each county. I will do one pickup in the McDonalds in the strip district of Pittsburgh at 9:30 AM. I will then travel via 28 to the PA turnpike, getting off in North Huntington and picking up at EatnPark in Irwin at approximately 10:00 AM. We will be traveling via turnpike to Chambersburg to arrive with time to spare. There will be no smoking in the vehicle but I will stop to accomodate if neccessary. I have intentions on staying for the post-hearing group meal. If you would like to reserve a seat please let me know. If I end up getting no takers maybe somebody in Allegheny will take me in if I meet them? Ill definitely pitch in for gas. I dont really want to drive if theres another open seat heading that way. Hopefully all the cars fill up, though....and all the gun lockers, and the courthouse and the restaurants. Last edited by RWhiteman; December 29th, 2007 at 09:37 AM. |

Has there been any type of agreement on where this will be taking place?

I would like to see a local make the call on where (for both before and after) and we'll go with it. |

I plan on making it. So, put me on the list. I have to see how this goes in person. And I want to show my support.

Scratch me from the list. I have lab tests scheduled for the 8th. the Dr. can't reschedule and keep the tests in the window required.

I'll be coming. Got more room in the car if anyone needs a ride and can get to McKees Rocks.
Oh yea, Smoking is ok in my vehicle, if anyone's been to the group shoots, you probably already know this lol.

I'm contemplating coming but it's about a 3 hour drive each way for me. Put me on the maybe list. If others from Delco want to come and split gas it might push me into the yes side.
EDIT: Is there a gun check at the courthouse itself or is it accross the street like in Delco. ![]() Oh yeah, and no smoking in my vehical if you do come along! Last edited by dragonofpa; December 29th, 2007 at 08:07 AM. |
