IDPA at Southfork Rifle Range

The first official meeting of the Southfork Rifle Range IDPA Pistol shoot will meet at
Gander Mt. on April 19th
at 1830 (6:30PM).

Anyone that would like to be involved in helping setting up and getting this off the ground. Please try to attend. We will need lots of help to make this work. And it will be thru "our" efforts that this either works or it doesn't

Don't forget about the meeting coming up on the 19th at Gander Mt. at 6:30 I think it was.

Have been talking to the VP of the range. He said that they may be willing to purchase the timer we will need to run these matches. That would be great.

Also told me that during the winter, if we wanted to do indoor matches we can use the indoor range.

This is looking like it is really going to come around. Just be patient. I'm sure we will have a slow start.

Got a nice printout off the Holidaysburg IDPA match. I will try to make copies to pass out at the meeting. Gives you the general rules and things you need to know to compete. It is very well done.

If all goes well. May 26th hopes to be the first shoot of our Practical Pistol Shooting Matches at the South Fork Range. Stay tuned for more updates. The wheels have started turning. We even have a possible sponser

Hey guys.....IDPA closer to home I like it. I know some of the guys at Southfork from shooting the Bullseye competition with them. I run the Reade Township Sportsmen group over in Glasgow. We have a 9 poistion indoor 50ft range....for 22 and centerfire lead nose bullets where we shoot Bullseye Sept-April. We also have a 16 position 25yd and 50yd range (Bullsye May-Augusut) that I would volunteer to expand shooting at if you need more space. I am open May26 and would like to show up and bring a few guys with me

Any thing new with this shoot? Is it happening? If so I am going to be pi$$ed you didn't invite me over Randy. If it isn't happening can I help, I don't want to run anything but I could probably RO or something.
