Default steel noob!!

So i finally went to a steel shoot with a buddy of mine and I must say i think I'm addicted!! Everyone was very nice, and helpfull. No one there was a hothead or show off or thought less of you cause you weren't running a $5000 2011. Overall had a great time and i cant wait for the next event.

Default Re: steel noob!!

Steel is a starter drug. It leads to more serious addictions like IDPA, USPSA/IPSC, and the worse is three gun. Be careful or you will be working your way toward those $5000 STIs. But seriously with today’s Stock Service Pistol, all of IDPA for that matter, Production Division and Single Stack Division no one will think less of you if you don’t have the $5000 gun. Production Division is getting big. At Summer Blast in York one of the biggest USPSA matches on the east coast there were 88 Open, 89 Limited and 87 Production shooters. Production holds its own. I miss steel league. I wish I had more time to shoot it too.

Congratulations,
Walt
