Default Re: want to shoot idpa need your help

Hi Matt,

I just wanted to let you know that on NEPA IDPA SCORES you will find a link in the right hand column called Welcome to IDPA. It is a New Shooters Packet written by, I believe Ted Murphy. You will find it has a wealth of info. Ted is a well know and respected Match Director/Shooter among the sport. Good Luck in your adventures and maybe I'll see you around. I generally shoot at Hollidaysburg 3rd Sat. of the month and Lewistown last Sun. of the month on a regular basis. Today we shot the Independence Match at Wilkes-Barre. A sactioned match will blow your mind if you like the sport at the local level. They usually have a variatey of stages that really make you think.

PS. I shoot an M&P9 and I use a Safariland Holtser mod.# 5186. I also recommend (spelling ???) using 2 single mag pouches rather than 1 double. 2 singles allow you to position your mags where it is comfortable. I find myself having problems with the double, but that is just me. I can say the XD double style is nice though. Just food for thought....
