Default Would this be acceptable for SASS shooting?

I bought a Winchester Trapper (16 inch barrel - large loop lever) in .44 mag.

As an after thought, I was wondering if this would be acceptable for SASS shooting.

Anybody know?

Thumbs up Re: Would this be acceptable for SASS shooting?

The trapper is acceptable for SASS but where it would be a disadvantage would be a stage that requires the rifle being loaded with 10 rounds in the magazine. From what I know of the Trapper it only holds 9.

Here ia an article I found.

It will work for SASS, but as has been previously mentioned, the magazine capacity (9 round) will cause you to have to load on the clock for 10 round stages.
