I can relate. Trust me.... I can relate.

And next month it is going to be worse. Teased with going to the USPSA RO course. Then the Beginners Course with the better half and my daughter. The Classifier, And then the USPSA intro on the 29th.

UUUGGGHHHH. April can't get here fast enough.

4 mags should be plenty. IDPA stages can have up to 18 shots required, so with 32 rounds you should be good to go.

What kind of gun do you have? Some version of a 1911?

I have a Ruger P345

Like Randy said you can start anytime throughout the year.

Come early to a match and we will check you out on the safety procedures of the club and IDPA. We get a lot of new shooters during the course of the year and we do everything we can to make sure you have a safe and enjoyable time.

Thanks!
Corey
Thanks for the replies, guys. I will be sure to come to one of the shoots early.

I wear prescription glasses. Does this count as eye protection??

I found out today that I will not be able to attend the March beginners class or shoot. If there is one later in the summer or fall I will look to attend then. Thanks to all of you who have answered my questions and provided help. It sucks, life threw me a lemon so I guess I will have to try and make lemonade.

You will have a great time.
