Thanks for info ! It sounds like a blast and from what I see on their website, it looks like a pretty nice Club.

You mention that you've competed in their events ... can you tell me a little more about what takes place ....

..Is this a timed event, as in run from station to station ?

..Are targets " Scored paper " or just hit Gong ?

..Do you think I might be able to compete .. Handicapped .. I must utilize a crutch to get around and can't go fast, but could probably carry gun , ammo and whatever by my self ?

..Any idea on Membership cost .. I like to support the places utilize ?

I hit your link and no-show .... is the following link the same organization ?

.....http://keystonefishandgame.org/

Even if I can't compete, I'd still enjoy being spectator ... used to compete Cowboy prior to injury ... for safety reasons (handgun especially) I've stopped that ... sometimes my leg buckles and I fall , don't want to take a chance w/loaded handgun and people nearby.

Thanks again for info.

Bad Link below ?

yeah, afaik, they were having trouble with the web site, and the web master of it not giving the pw out for anyone else to fix it, so tehre were a few of htem. its all the same place.

sniper shoot: no tome, no running, if the gong rings, its a hit.

you do NOT have to be a member of the club to compete in the sniper shoot. you do, however to use the range (rifle or pistol) iirc, its $20 a yr, buut there is a "registration fee" when you first join, i think 5, so $25 to join ( i THINK, somewhere areound there)

to compete in the sniper course, its $6 per run, you can go through more than once.

as far as getting through the course, first, there's really no spectator area. its (the course) on a trail that runs throught the woods behind the club. the path is MOSTLY clear, but there are a few hills, and some of the climbs are across slope, which i know isint always that easy to walk, let alone with a crutch, but i dont know what shape your in, and if you do alot of walking throughth e bush hunting, i think you should be able to handle it.

its hard to say, but if i had to guess, id say about a 300 yd walk to the 1st station, maybe 200yd for the course (between 10-50 yd between stages), and about 150 yd back to the building.

afa the cowboy shooting, i know nothing about that, ive never been. but they do have a bowling pin shoot on the 3rd sunday, no walking involved, and also a tactical (ipda, ispc ???) shoot afterwards, that im pretty sure is "spectator friendly" thay also have a cmp shoot on the 2nd sundays too.

It depends on the crowds...
Somedays, you can get a course shot through in an hour and 15 mins. Again, depending on group size and attendance that day. There are a few of us that go through twice... we usually get done with the second time through around 1200 or 1230 (if you are the first or second group out.)

Sounds like fun, might need to pick up a new rifle that beats me up less than the 7.62x54 thing does . . . LOL

Out to about 220 yards, you need a scope for that . . . LOL
