Default Re: Group Purchase Forum

If you guys want a group buy on ammo, I will check out current pricing. We would probably have to stay with pistol calibers 9,40,45 all others are already starting to show short supply.

Brands that are still available (easily)

Federal American Eagle

Magtech (not Magsafe)

UltraMax (Reloads)

The buy would have to be minimum 50 cases per caliber and it would be best if it could be picked up at my shop or we could bring it with us to the Gun Shows. Harrisburg and Valley Forge are coming up.

Rich,

thanks for the offer, but how are you going to carry all of that ammo to the gun shows and have room for the stuff you want to sell at the shows? It seems that I am always the one that is tasked to get things done on the forum. I just don't have the space to store that much ammo. Not to mention if you must pay to have the ammo drop shipped to your place and the buyer must either pick up the ammo or have the ammo shipped to him/her. That would increase the cost because we'd end up having to pay for shipping twice.

We run a 5 ton box truck to the shows followed by a pick-up to run around with at night.

As far as shipping goes,
I have a deal set that as long as I purchase a minimum of 50 cases it ships to me FREE. Thats the reason for the 50 case minimum total.

I have no intentions of charging guys to deliver it to the shows that I am already going to.

It will cost the buyer time and gas if they wish to pick it up at my shop. Shipping is always the killer part of ammo, thats why I feel shipping would be a moot point. I think there are more than enough members in reasonable driving distence to my shop to make this work.

It's upto you guys, I just figured I'd offer.

Hey Rich, does the '50 case minimum' have to be all same caliber? Cause that might be way easier to 'sell' to this group. Of course then it turns into a crazy version of the Girl Scouts:

"I'll take 3 of the 9mm, 2 of the .45 and 2 Thin Mints please"

But if we have to go 50 cases, I'll start saving up to get 5 cases of 9mm.

Please post prices when available.

I'm in Chester County, the closest I could meet you might be the VF Convention gun show.

As long as we hit 50 cases it doesn't matter how the calibers stack ie: 20 cases 9mm, 13 cases 40 s&w and 17 cases 45 ACP.

9mm is available
45 is available
thin mints are back ordered

Ok,

So far Ultramax (reloads) is OUT they can't handle the volume. Said they are at MAX production now. would be a month for that volume to be delivered.

MAGTECH says NO problem, minimum 150,000 boxes of each IN STOCK. waiting on final price's with volume discount though.

Federal AE says NO problem on 9 and 40 but stock on 45 getting low now. They will call me back shortly with volume prices.

I will post price's after the shop closes tonight.
