Cool Took the reloading plunge (more like just putting my feet in)

Well I took the plunge today. Ordered the above goodies to get started. I will do alot of reading and asking questions then I will order the powder, primers, bullets. I am leaning toward the SWC or the WC as suggested by X.

I will read the Lee info of course but X - do you or does anyone else have suggestions as to a good powder to use with the dispenser that comes w/ the lee kit?

From your 1st reloading class I guess that most (as long as they are not shaped like tiny rods) should measure out consistantly as long as i do the "TAP" to keep the powder full at the bottom of the dispenser.

Again I thank you XRingShooter for all the advice and demonstrations a couple weeks back. I am sure that once I get everything mounted I will have many more questions. If I can't seem to answer them on my own (through reading) I will once again rely on the group knowledge on the board.

Can't wait to get that package via UPS - next week I hope.......

Cork,

Any of the powders shown in the reloading manual will measure ok in the Leee equipment. Let us know what type of load you may want (mild, medium, hot, target, self defense, etc) and I'm sure the reloaders here will give you their opinions. You can also post on the ammo and reloading section to get some other thoughts.

I don't think you can go wrong (at this stage) with Unique, it is a good all around powder. I don't have access to my manuals (I'm at work) right now, otherwise I would look some up. I'll see what I can do tonight.
