Centre Region PaFOA Members Get Together

Hey all Centre region PaFOA members (and any PaFOA members from anywhere in the state).

We are going to have a get together at my place on Sunday Oct. 21 starting at 12 noon or so. There are some members that want to learn about different firearms and we thought this would be a good time to get together and talk guns (and whatever) since the Scotia range is closed that weekend.

I will have beer (MGD), soda, iced tea, wine (Red, White, Rose), hard stuff (a good mixture), and cold water available. Bring some snacks to share and if you are particular about what you drink, byob. Bring along your favorite firearm or one that you may want to show off. I have completed my latest AR build so I'll be able to show it off.

I know there are questions about semi-auto pistols and Mosin-Nagants that individuals want to get answered. I will of course have my reference data and reloading data available.

ALL PaFOA members are invited and if you have someone that is interested in either the group or want to know more about guns/shooting/OC/CC in general, bring them along. If we get too many people I'll move the cars out and we'll use the 2 car garage (I've got a lot of things to sit on, and can set up a table for demonstrations if needed)

My address is 307 Matilda Ave. Lemont, Pa 16851. I am the last house on Matilda Ave and if you Google map the address the info is pretty close. If you just can't find it PM me this week or call me Sunday on the shop phone 814-867-0867.

Also, if you want to make is a mini swap meet, bring your whatever, you never know what may happen.

Hmm I will try and have to make it. I am going home that weekend so i guess well see exactly when i come back up Sunday. I guess ill know closer to the weekend. If everything arrives ill have my AR put together by then.

Sunday, excellent. I'll have the following Auto's available for evaluation. Glock, Sig, Springfield, Uzi and a S&W revolver. Should be there right around 12.

Yes actually there is but it's a little more complicated.

From SC:
You turn on Mary St (the street where the post office is) (the first right after the stoplight if coming from SC). Go past the P.O. to the intersection and turn left. Go to the second intersection (you won't be able to go straight any more) turn right and then almost an immediate left, you be back on Matilda.

From Bellefonte:
Nope, unless you want to go through the Mall parking lot to the stoplight. Go straight through up to the corner where C-COR is and make the right (Carolean Rd). Go to the end and turn left then right on First Ave. Down First to second left (Rhodes Lane). At top of Rhodes turn left into gravel road and my place.

Hopefully I will be able to make it up. Maybe bring the wife along. Depends on what she has going on for me. But will definitely bring along some snack stuff if we are coming.

And I will let you know for sure come closer time if you can count on us or not.

I am taking the wife on vacation to Busch Gardens this weekend or I would definitely stop by. Have fun, I'll have to catch the next one.
