Default New to Bucks County

Hello,

I'm somewhat new to Bucks county (Warrington), and would like to get into target shooting with a hand gun, eventually leading to concealed carry. I've been shooting clays for a while, so am not new to firearms, but am new to handguns.

I've been doing a lot of research on-line and think that I want to get a 22 semi-automatic to use as my first pistol.

I'm also looking for places to shoot, and have found the Conestoga Rod and Gun Club to be close to where I live. Does any one have any comments or other ranges/clubs that I should consider.

I'm also looking for places that offer classes and pistol rentals.

Thanks,

Matt

You must be near Classic Pistol which is a good place to shoot. And not too far from 'Ready, Aim, Fire'. Both are good for shooting.

Agreed, Classic also has a Pistol safety course and a CCW course if I am not mistaken.

The closest place to you for rentals and training is probably Target World near the intersection of route 202 and County Line Road in Chalfont.

Also, Branch Valley Fish Game and Foresty Association is not far away in Perkasie and they have some really nice facilities. I believe membership is closed right now, but it may open back up in the spring once some members fail to renew.

Stay out of Target World. The girls will love you if you stay out. They must be queer since they don't like girls.

Now that I think about it, I've never noticed any women in Target World while I was there.

They treat us like shit.

classic pistol is a excelent place to shoot, got A+ rating across the board in my opinion. If your looking for a good range, it is one of the best. Oh and there are some women in there but i already got the ol' ball n' chain so i dont look that much lol.

I caught the announcment for the IDPA match too late to participate. RAF is only 30 minutes away from work. I'm going to try and make the match next month.

Matt,

It may be a bit of a hike for you, but French Creek Outfitters in Phoenixville isn't a bad place either.

I've never been to Classic Pistol.
