I'm looking for a gunshop near Allentown or Reading that carries a decent amount of Milsurps. I'm looking for a 03A3 and/or a garand, preferably shooters, to use in CMP matches. I'm not a collector so import marks etc aren't really important considerations for me.
Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks in advance, Dave |

Another vote for Seneca Arms and John.....also give Donelys Gun Shop in Quakertown a try, he usually has some mil-surp stuff in the area.

I agree with abpt1 on 2 things:
1. Check Eagle Arms...last few times I was there there were a lot of surplus rifles on the racks, including '03's. Never had a problem with anything I bought from Eagle Arms. 2. AVOID Gun Gallery. He has several Garands and Springfields, all overpriced and not necessarily original. The owner is famous stamping fake marks on guns, German, US, doesn't matter...he is very creative. I have had dealings with both places and this has been my experience. FWIW. Mark |

One of the best informed and best stocked on quality Garands are Michael and Stephen @ A&S Arms. in Silverdale. They are at most of the Valley's gun shows. 215-453-5977

I live about a half mile from there and wasn't even aware of the gun show this weekend. Thanks for the heads-up...I didn't need all this money anyway. Mark |
