So after a lot of researching, emails, phone calls, and discussions, I finally joined a club. After receiving a sponsorship from former PAFOA member Aubie515, I was made a member at the Elverson Rod & Gun Club last night at their monthly meeting. Aub doesn't post here anymore, but I believe he lurks from time to time, so if you're reading, THANKS AUB!
For me, it was the best mix of a lot of factors: distance from home, membership fees and the application process, services the club provides, etc. Woo Hoo! Now I just have to find time to get there and shoot! Can't wait for the weather to warm up! For those potentially interested in joining, I believe there are still some openings. Here's their website: http://www.elversonrodandgunclub.com/ They will be considering new applications at the April meeting. They do have some people on a wait list who were promised that spots would be held for them until they attend the April meeting, but I believe there are still more openings than applicants, so it's worth a shot.

I actually just sent an email requesting membership info to Eleverson Gun Club.
I'm hoping they get back to me pretty quickly as I see the next meeting is next week. Can anyone tell me what the requirements are for membership? Thanks Chris |

heh, I tried "clicking" the link several times and it would not work. Finally, after googling it, and clicking a few other links (several of which did not work). I snatched one up that did work properly. Apparently, there is a problem with their homepage, all of the links ARE the same http://www.elversonrodandgunclub.com/. So, if it doesn't work the first time, just keep on clicking and it should work... Looks like a pretty decent club though...
