Whats Up with High Taxes?
Hello Berks people. I live in Bucks but am looking to move to Berks county in the next 6 to 12 months. I can't help but notice that the municipal/county/school taxes are incredibly high!
Does anyone know why that is? Are there any movements to bring taxes back in line with surrounding counties? Any thoughts or insight is appreciated. Matt

Last few years a whole lot of houses were built, now they gotta build schools.
Hate to bash my own county ( I live in Northern Berks) but I have a lot of friends in Schuykill and it is still pretty low compared to here. They have had growth up there but not as bad as here.
