Default Cheap 9mm ammo

I just bought 1000 rounds of 9mm UMC 115 gr FMJ ammo at Dick's Sporting Goods store in the Brandywine Shopping Center in Delaware.

If you buy 5 or more boxes, they will charge you 7.98 per box. Pretty cheap considering there is no state tax.

They had a fairly large supply of the 9mm but I did not see any .40 or .45 caliber ammo on the floor.

Just a heads up for anyone in the area that might be looking for some practice or plinking ammo.

Yeah, I believe you can get 100 rounds of WWB for $14.88. Stock up while you can.

Thanks for the heads up but Targetmaster won't let me shoot the WWB. At least I saved on the tax.

That's about the best you're going to do for bulk 9mm, outside of CCI Blazer. Buy as much as you can.

Online, I think the best you'll do for 9mm is:

$8/box ($160/case) for American Eagle
$7.50/box ($150/case) for Blazer (brass)

There is no such thing as "cheap" 9mm......or any ammo for that matter. It's all way overpriced anymore Just hoping this is a "peak" and prices will stabilize.

There is suppose to be 3 prices increases this year alone, so I would'nt depend on the prices being at it's peak. I wouldn't be surprised if there was more than 3 scheduled price increases.

Check out Dicks Ultramax large boxes this week. They have 250 rd boxes for $35. This comes to $7 a box. Not sure what your opinion is of Ultramax, but there it is.

I'm thinking I'm going to stock up to about 5000 rounds of that and .380 and get a reloader.
