Default Re: Wolf Ammo in AR

I never had a problem with the reliability of wolf ammo. I shot the shit out of wolf ammo, with "zero" fails. However it is very dirty, so you should clean after using. I always do so it doesn't become a problem for me.

Black Hills is the best IMO, but it is expensive, not for just plinking.
I got a good deal on some Remington UMC 55g and Winchester (white box) 55g, so I bought 30 boxes of each, you know, for zombie food. It is a little bit more than Wolf, but I like them both.

I get alot of my ammo from Natchez Shooters Supplies, they have good prices and they let you know when they are running specials via e-mail. http://www.natchezss.com/

Never noticed a differnt sound, and I've put thousands of rounds from all different makes down my Ar. If it shoots ok and cycles like it should. I'd say you'll have no prblems.

I've shot thousands or rounds of Wolf .223 through my 2 AR's without a problem.

You may notice a difference in the Wolf 55g vs the 62g. The 62g has a slower MV than the 55g. I had issues of short stroking with the 62g. in my 20" NM rifle, but my M-4gery ran both without an issue.
