I've got a Springco recoil reducer, model number 16254, that I'm not interested in keeping. I purchased the part in July and have fired approximately 30-40 rounds with it installed in a Glock 23. I don't care for the shortened slide travel, the gun feels 'bound up' to me on follow through. Plus, I experienced half a dozen 'failure to feeds' with truncated nose and hollow point rounds. I tried using heavier mag springs at the suggestion of Springco's customer support, but it didn't help with my issues. So, I went back to the stock guide rod and spring, and actually prefer the feel with the stock setup.
Rather than let it collect dust or try to return it, I would just as soon sell it to someone local. I still have the original packaging (narrow ziplock with a cardboard insert), installation instructions, and warranty registration card. $50.00 shipped. I live and work in Pottstown. I'm at French Creek Outfitters often, as well. If you want to meet me someplace close or at the range, knock off $5.00. I'll accept paypal or money order for the shipped part, or cash in person. Thanks for looking, Giovanni |
